Tell me a story-series-1,2,3 About The Book: The series ‘Tell me a story’ contains olden historical stories like stories from ‘The RAMAYANA , The MAHABHARATA’ and similar stories of kings, sages, giants, Rakshasas, Gods etc. I was very lucky to get these books as a gift during my visit to Chinmay Mission. The series is written by   SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA and SWAMI TEJOMAYANANDA two great ‘swamis’. What’s in there? There are amples and amples of stories in each of the three books.    The series is a bit like ‘PANCHATANTRA/AESOPS FABLES/ARABIAN NIGHTS. Book Review: The BFG By Roald Dahl The BFG I got interested in books by Roald Dahl because of my friends. They first gave me ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’. After that, I thought I should read more books by Roald Dahl. Hence I ordered ‘the BFG’ from my library. I wondered what the word “BFG” meant. The name didn’t give me a clue about what the book was about.     What's in there? The book is about a girl called ‘Sophie’ and our hero ‘the BFG’. Sophie lives in an orphanage in England. The name ‘Captain Awesome’ and the picture of the Nacho Cheese Man attracted me. Hence I ordered this book as my first read of the series. What’s in there?
