About The Book:

An imaginary creation, owned by ENID BLYTON, comes into form and falls on the doorstep of her great mind! She falls on it and starts writing this book about four children named Jack, Mike, Peggy And Nora. Her ideas drop down in her book like tears of joy. The name of this mysterious book is ‘The Secret Island’. It is as mysterious as its name. What happens in this m~y~s~t~e~r~i~o~u~s book…?

What’s in there?

Three Children…. in a wooden house…. in the dense forest live ALONE! No- I am just joking 😊. Three children live in a nice house with their aunt and uncle. But they are cruel... Don’t mis-understand! The children are not cruel. The aunt and uncle are… as if they were the King and queen of the cruelest! The children’s mother and father go on a journey in a plane that the Children’s father has invented. At once the aunt and uncle become villains.
The Children have a friend called ‘Jack’. He is also troubled by his grandfather’s behavior. The Four of them have had enough. They take all their belongings and run away. They spend some days on A Secret Island – which Jack has found. And what happens there…? I don’t want to shower all the excitement on you myself. I want you to read the book and understand the excitement yourself. So read it!

You simply must read this book or-or-er…I will send you on a lonely island. I tell you this little creation is inviting. King's Orders – read it!!

Book Review: The Wishing Chair Collection by Enid Blyton

The Wishing Chair Collection ...by Enid Blyton The Wishing Chair Collection by my favourite author Enid Blyton, is wonderful, amazing! I say it is 'draughty!' because of the Chair's wings which keep flapping! What's in there? Once it so happens that two children named Peter and Mollie have gone to a shop to buy their mother a Birthday gift. They sit on a chair in the shop, frightened, because a fox just leaps out of a box and Peter says.."Oh! I just wish we were home!" and ....lo and behold....the Chair starts growing wings of its own and escapes from the shop, flying out of the window. The shopkeeper, a funny little man, shouts at the chair and tries to catch it.. but in vain.  On an adventure, Peter and Mollie save a Pixie from a giant's castle. The Pixie's name is 'Chinky'. The name ‘Captain Awesome’ and the picture of the Nacho Cheese Man attracted me. Hence I ordered this book as my first read of the series. What’s in there?
