Jonathan Livingston Seagull

About the book-

It’s fantastic. A perfect example of keep trying to get what you want! And Jonathan’s determination gives us spirit too. Let us understand-

What’s in there-

There's a seagull by the name of Jonathan Livingston whose dream is to fly - without speed being limited. He practices and practices, though his mother and father tell him that seagulls live to eat. But he doesn’t listen to them and then is called an outcast by the elder gulls (elders). But he doesn’t give up hope and he finally achieves his goal! He soon dies and goes to heaven. He learns some interesting things and secrets about flying from Chang- the new elder gull, who he meets in heaven. Chang encourages him to think that he is a free and unlimited body - without a limited wingspan. Then Jonathan descends to earth and decides to help any seagull who wants to fly - to fly. There are many things we can learn from the book. What I liked the most is that Jonathan doesn’t give up and, in the end, achieves what he wants to achieve and doesn’t pay heed to the seagulls who tell him not to fly higher and faster. While reading, we may feel as if it is a bit higher than our level. But try and make it till the end because you will enjoy it very much. And so-

What I think about it-

It’s fantastic, as I very well mentioned in my first line. The only unfortunate thing is that it is too short. An average reader should finish it in 11-12 hrs. My advice-read it. Your choice-reading it! A great story written by Richard Bach! Other advice-watch the film ‘Jonathan Livingston Seagull’ as soon as you can after you finish reading the book.

My score of paani puris-

I give it 5 paani puris! 😋😋😋😋😋
